About the Global Foundation For Children With Hearing Loss

The Global Foundation For Children With Hearing Loss mission is to help children who are deaf or hard of hearing living in developing countries access the resources, hearing technology, and locally-trained professional support they need to learn to listen and talk.  With such skills, they can enter mainstream schools in the communities where they live and aspire to broader employment opportunities in their future.

The Global Foundation has been working in Vietnam since 2010.  Our model focuses on building capacity so the Vietnamese have the expertise and resources to support their own.  We are now developing new programs in Ecuador and Mongolia that wil make a significant differrence in the lives of hundreds of babies and young children.

The Global Foundation For Children With Hearing Loss is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Seattle, Washington.  Please visit www.childrenwithhearingloss.org for more about us.
